Tour Itinerary
Day 1
- Report in Bagdogra by early morning 5am and board your vehicles for the drive to illam
- Unforgettable journey starting from Bagdogra Airport, venturing into Nepal via
Kakkarbhitta - Experience thrilling off-road adventures amidst rugged terrain, leading to
Singalila Ridge, a hidden gem nestled amidst the mountains - Overnight in hotel/guesthouse/homestay
Day 2
- Exploration of the mountainous forests in search of Red Panda
- In the early morning, a team of trackers will enter on the search, while guests will set out after breakfast accompanied by a designated guide or naturalist
- Exploring the forest and engaging in activities like birding, guests will await notification from the trackers regarding a Red Panda sighting
- Once notified, the guests will proceed to witness the captivating presence of the RedPanda
- tracking guides and porters will lead you to the spot
- There would not be any specific routine for these 4 days reserved for spotting Red
Panda, as we need to move to the spotting places as soon as we hear about the sightings from our spotting guides - photography review session / dinner
Day 3

- Our journey will start early morning to Sandakphu to witness the mesmerizing sunrise and breathtaking views

- Accommodation on 2/3 sharing basis in Illlam and Red Panda habitat

Tour Instructions
- We have sighted Red panda on most of the expeditions we have organized in the last six years
- It gets really frigid. Winter travel requires serious protection from the bone-chilling Himalayan weather
- So, you’re going to need layers. Lots of them, along with thick winter clothing
- If anything, you shouldn’t underestimate how cold and windy it can be. The temperature often drops to -10 °C
- We’ll send you the list of packing items a couple of months before tour starts
- The itinerary mentioned in this page is subject to favourable weather and road conditions
- In case of bad weather and inaccessibility to a destination, we will do our best to make alternate plans
- The tour price or any part of it will not be refunded in the event of unfavourable conditions anytime during the tour days
- Wildlife sightings depend on various factors, including weather, availability of food and the animal showing up in our vicinity (in the vast mountain landscapes)
- No refunds will be made if a participant is unable to complete the tour owing to medical conditions or any other reasons, after starting the tour
- All participants would have to sign a Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Arbitration Agreement before joining the tour
