Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Leh. Day free for rest, Introduction and acclimatization day in Leh, Your first day at altitude will be utilized for acclimatizing with the elevation gain, orienting with the terrain and introduction with the guide and other members. Night stay at LEH

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 2

After breakfast enjoy an excursion of Thiksey Monastery, and photo halt at the base of the Shey Palace
After lunch and some rest visit the Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa, Evening free for shopping in the colorful Leh Market

Day 3

Early morning departure to Aryan Valley – 202 km Drive
Spend leisure time enjoying the sights of the beautiful Apricot orchards along the way at Garkone and surrounding mountainside
Enjoy the sight of the mighty Indus as it accompanies you on the Journey into Ladakh’s hinterland
spend leisure time with the Local Aryan people. Get photographs of local tribesmen & women who claim to be descendants of the Aryan race and roam the small village
Night stay and enjoy the blossom village in Aryan valley.

Day 4

All the Arian valley villages will be in bloom
The Flower sheds its petals to indus river
Morning and Evening The golden light penetrating is also very beautiful to see
Afternoon will leave to kargil via more blossom villages and snow capped mountains

Day 5

After breakfast visit the War memorial at Drass. Listen to the stories of the heroes of the Kargil War
On the way back, spend leisure time around the hamlets near Kargil to take in the sights of the beautiful Apricot Blossom

Early morning departure to Leh via Mulbekh, Namikla, Fotula, and Moonland
Via The Sangam of the Sindhu and the Zanskar rivers (view point), the Magnetic hill and Pattharsahib Gurudwara

Day 7

Early morning departure to Nubra valley via Khardung la (World’s highest motorable road, 18380 ft). Transfer to hotel
After lunch and some rest visit the 32meter idol of the Maitreya Buddha near the Diskit Monastery and proceed to the famous Desert of Ladakh at Hunder, enjoy the great ambience on sand dunes & also take a ride on double hump Camels (Optional)

Day 8

After breakfast departure to Leh via Khardungla Pass
Evening free for shopping and relaxation in Leh

Early morning departure to Pangong Lake (Salt water lake @ 14500 ft) via the Karu and Changla Pass (3rd Highest Pass of the world @17800 ft)

The air in Ladakh is very thin due to high altitude and no vegetation so it is advised to see your doctor and take the required medication.
If you have prior experience of trekking or hiking high altitude terrains, then there shouldn’t be any problems related to high altitude sickness.
