Valley of Flowers + Rishikesh Photography Workshop

Day 1

• Arrive Rishikesh (Workshop Night)
• Check in by afternoon.
• 6:00–11:00 PM: Night Photography Workshop
• Golden Hour & Blue Hour: Triveni Ghat aarti flames + river reflections.
• Bridge Long Exposures: Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula with light trails.
• Street Life Abstracts: Tapovan cafés, chai stalls, sadhus in lamplight.
• Overnight stay in Rishikesh (Tapovan/Laxman Jhula area).

Day 2

• Rishikesh → Joshimath/Auli (2,000–2,500 m)
• Scenic Alaknanda drive (Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag halts).
• Drive: ~255–275 km / 10–11 hrs.
• Stay: Joshimath/Auli.

Day 3

• Joshimath → Govindghat → Pulna → Trek to Ghangaria (3,050 m)
• Short drive to Pulna, trek 9–10 km (5–6 hrs).
• Evening rest in Ghangaria.

Day 4

• Valley of Flowers (Central Meadows & Pushpawati views)
• Enter at 7:00 AM sharp, shoot flowers in soft light.
• Focus: balsams, asters, first meadows & stream crossings.

Day 5

• Valley of Flowers (Deeper exploration)
• Hike further into the valley, fewer crowds.
• Macro shots, misty wide frames after showers.

Day 6

• Hemkund Sahib (4,329 m)
• 6 km steep trek, Brahma Kamal blooms near final zigzags.
• Lake reflections & spiritual ambience.

Day 7

• Buffer/Flex Day
• Extra VoF entry if bloom is spectacular, or weather-reserve.

Day 8

• Ghangaria → Pulna → Govindghat → Joshimath/Auli
• Trek down, drive back. Sunset photography at Auli meadows.

Day 9

• Joshimath → Rishikesh
• Drive back (~10–11 hrs).
• Option B: If group energy permits, repeat Night Photography Workshop in Rishikesh (bridges/streets at night).
• Stay: Rishikesh.

Day 10

Day 9

• Departure from Rishikesh
• Morning riverside photo-walk (Ganga ghats).
• Depart onwards.

 This way, the workshop acts as a creative warm-up (Day 0), setting the mood for the mountain expedition.

  If weather or travel delays prevent Day 0 session, you still have Day 8 evening backup.
